HP x Dr.Dre

Yes technology has taken it there. The man who pretty much developed and created sounds for 2 of the biggest artist around, Dr.Dre has teamed up with the guys over at HP HQ to create this….

If you love audio, you’ll invest in a laptop with top notch sound quality. Well, at least that’s the belief of Hewlett-Packard, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. HP introduced a new series of laptops and desktops with Beats Audio technology which will unite music lovers and computer geeks with its sound quality. The audio technology was created with Beats by Dr. Dre, which was launched in 2009. It might sound a little extreme, but Iovine told Billboard.biz:

“An entire generation has been brought up on bad sound. Dre and I are working to repair the transmission of sound, to restore the sound and emotion to what was recorded in the studio and bring that experience to consumers. When consumers hear and appreciate the difference we’re all going to benefit.”

The thing nowadays is: we get so much music from the internet, that the music files are no strangers to being compressed -which, according to Iovine, fails to deliver the emotion from the artist and the producer.

HP Envy 14 features a very attractive design, still in its red-black color scheme -we especially love the red backlit keyboard, and each laptop comes with its own Beats Solo headphones from Monster. There are also pre-installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Adobe Premiere Elements 8 software for photo and video editing. The asking price starts at $1.249.99 and the Envy 14 Beats Edition is currently available in the US market.
