New Yorks ‘Fashion Night Out’ Tonight!

Personally didnt know ‘Fashion Night Out’s’ were so common. As we blogged yesterday about the streets of Carnaby Street whereby Harvey Nichols teamed up with the guys over at Vogue, for it has to be said a very good FNO.

We now have seen that the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week also has  a Fashion Night Out in the heart of NY this weekend.

FNO is an event that just keeps getting bigger and better every year. The activities range from exclusive parties thrown by luxury designer labels, to free public concerts and fashion previews.

2010 will mark a fairly drastic change in New York City Fashion Week tradition. This year will be the first time that Lincoln Center will be used as the venue for the Fashion Week tent shows. Traditionally, Bryant Park has been the epicenter of all of the New York City Fashion Week festivities. In grand style, Anna Wintour got a headstart this year by hosting the “Fashion’s Night Out” runway show (above) at Lincoln Center on Tuesday night.

Heres a treat for all Pharell fans, if you are interested in spending the night partying with the man himself and the Ice Cream/BBC gang, check out the following details straight from BBC:

This Friday at 4 pm, we will be releasing an Exclusive Tee Shirt at the Billionaire Boys Club New York Flagship Store, 456 West Broadway. Purchase this tee and receive a VIP pass to our FNO event.

This pass will guarantee you access to our store later that evening for the N*E*R*D album preview and meet and greet with Pharrell.

The VIP pass also gives you 20% off the entire season 11 inventory, friday night only… Limited quantities available so get there early.

If you find yourself in NYC this weekend, be sure to get out there and get involved in the FNO action. I think its a vibrant street event and really brings fashion to life. Next year I think I will definetly make a stop off to NY just for that.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF FNO’S?
