Mobos | Music | Jessie J collects Four Awards at Mobos

Jessie J cleaned out the  Mobo Awards, winning four out of five categories she was nominated for.The Essex-born music star missed out on the best video award, beaten by Tinchy Stryder and Dappy with the song Spaceship. Critics have already started to complain about Jessie J  leading the nominations for the 16th Music of Black Origin awards, because she is white (a really stupid reason),we at VA-Garments congratulate you Jessie J. Hard work truly pays off.

The one thing i didnt agree with, was best hip hop/grime act. Wretch 32 the rapper from Tottenham, north London, was nominated in four categories but failed to win in any. The award for best hip hop/grime act was won by Tinie Tempah. Both gentlemen have done well this year but, i think Wretch32 should have walk away with something.

Best reggae act: Alborosie

Best jazz act: Kairos 4Tet

Best African act: Wizkid

Best gospel act: Triple O

Best R&B/soul act: Adele

Outstanding contribution to music: Boyz II Men
