The Air Jordan I has seen countless iterations since its original launch 27 years ago, but custom design team PMK completely re-imagined the shoe with the recent release of the limited “Brooklyn Zoo” model. Sporting nine different animal skins such as ostrich and stingray, the “Zoo” model is a study in one-of-a-kind craftsmanship. Here, JAY Z’s Life + Times visits the PMK team in Brooklyn for a behind-the-scenes look of the construction of the shoe.
