So a few days ago over at VA-Garments we brought you excellent news, that we are proud to have joined forces with Barclays Bank PLC to create something different in terms of clothing and banking.
Their new and innovative payment app Barclays PINGIT, which was launched earlier this year allows consumers a quick way of sending money using just a mobile phone. So to get more individuals in the know and make the awareness of BARCLAYS PINGIT even bigger, we came up with some specific design based t.shirts that would be worn at several functions across the UK by both consumers and Barclays staff.
Ravensbourne
And here you have it, the final products worn by staff, consumers and even given away to those that thought the tops were so cool they would sport it on a casual day. Barclays Pingit wowed some of the most creative, young minds in the country at the Ravensbourne Freshers Fair held on Friday 28 September 2012. Ravensbourne is a university sector college specialising in digital media design, and runs a Freshers Fair each year, to help orientate new students to university life and living. Barclays took part in the Fresher Fair and spent time with hundreds of young people, sharing the great Barclays story. The team ran a stall showcasing Barclays latest innovations. During the day, the students got to ride on the “Go Stratford” augmented reality bike, sign up to Barclays Pingit and receive a £10 shopping voucher, and sit back and chat with friends in a free coffee and chill-out zone. Many t.shirts was given out during the day to students that attended.
